NextGen TIME: Paperscreen

This training is recommended for Science Teachers, Curriculum Directors, Instructional Coaches, Lead Teachers,  and Science Department Chairs . The access code will be removed and the workshop opened to any district to register after May 3, 2019.

In Paperscreen process, attendees learn to use the Next Generation Toolkit for Instructional Materials Evaluation (NextGen TIME) on a model unit of STEMscopes.  Afterwards, attendees will break up into groups to apply the NextGen TIME rubric to their current curriculum.  Attendees will inspect curriculum identifying the presence of three dimensional teaching, examining the unit’s alignment to the proposed standards, and analyzing the progression of learning.
