Behavior and Beyond, Addressing the Whole Student
Intervention Services is offering regional trainings providing strategies and supports for motivating and engaging ALL students. Training will consist of an opening session in which the Access for All Guide will be introduced. Breakout sessions will include topics such as making data-based decisions for positive behavioral outcomes throughout the MTSS process, social emotional learning, and instructional strategies to foster positive classroom and school environments. Targeted participants are general education teachers, special education teachers, counselors, interventionists, MTSS chairs, and others involved with the MTSS process (Pre K-12).
Targeted Participants: Elementary, Middle and High School general education teachers, special education teachers, Interventionists, counselors, and other members of TST teams.

| Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 | Eligible attendees for this training includes teachers, counselors, and administrators who are employed by a school district or MDE. Unless specifically noted otherwise, external contractors or vendors may not attend. This event is being funded with state and/or federal funds and is being provided for employees of school districts, employees of the Mississippi Department of Education and Department contractors. Miss. Const. Art. 4, Section 66 prohibits governing authorities from making donations. According to the Mississippi Attorney General, once the federal funds are turned over to the state, the rules for the expenditure of state funds apply. Based on the Mississippi law, this event is not being provided for third party vendors or external providers. |
